Cleveland Municipal Court is set to reopen Wednesday, Jan. 12th, following a cyberattack, but the court’s website will remain down for the time being.
As of Tuesday morning, the court’s website — which contains crucial information involving future court dates and bonds — has failed to load. Municipal Court spokesman Ed Ferenc said in a text message it’s unclear when the website will go back online.
A cyberattack has left the court closed since Feb. 23, and Monday was the first time court officials announced its reopening. For weeks, blinds had been drawn over windows at the court’s administrative office, and courtroom doors had been locked.
